Murder mystery events in unusual locationsBoats, trains, department stores – just a few of the slightly unusual places where we’ve performed our murder mystery events in the North East in 2018!

We’ve had such a wonderful packed year and if you were one of the guests at an event this year – thank you for coming along and joining in the fun.

When I mention boats I’m talking about our two murder mystery events on the Teesside Princess cruising up and down the River Tees and having a great time with everyone. The Teesside Princess has had a refit this year and we loved the transformation.

And then there was the Wensleydale Railway in September when we travelled up and down the line from Leeming Bar to Redmire murder mystery eventswith a train packed with passengers and a scrumptious plated meal. We’ll be heading back there in 2019 and we can’t wait!

Towards the end of the year as we brought out our Christmas murder mysteries we found ourselves in the Dunelm store in Darlington among the decorations as we took the staff through our Who Sleighed Santa plot. I think everyone had a great time and it was certainly different!

In total during 2018 we committed 41 murders and we’re planning more for 2019.

From starting the year with just one team of suspects in the Darlington area we now have two teams covering Darlington, Durham and North Yorkshire and two teams in Tyne and Wear areas and Northumberland. That means we can bring you our murder mystery events in the North East wherever you are!

So what does the future hold? More hotel events, private parties and hen dos.

And lots of new plots too. We’re kicking off the year with performances of Murder And The Millionairess which is a lovely story for a hen do because Greta Lovelace will only inherit the family fortune if she finds someone to marry her within the next 24 hours. Then we’re bringing in our latest period murder mystery with Silent Movie Murder, set in the 1920s, before moving on to a murder at a masked ball and a midwinter murder too.

Plus we’re moving into murder mystery weekends too at some gorgeous venues starting with Crathorne Hall Hotel near Yarm in March and then a second at Whitworth Hall Hotel near Spennymoor in May.

The next 12 months are going to be great fun and we hope you’ll come along to one or two of our murder mystery events in the North East in 2019 whether it’s for one evening or a whole weekend.
