A Christmas mystery
An idea for an early Christmas present to help get you in the mood for the festive season is tickets to a Christmas mystery.
Who Sleighed Santa comes to The Morritt Hotel and Garage Spa, near Barnard Castle on Friday, December 1.
The Wenceslas Department Store Santa is rubbish and not very friendly!
Bob Balls, the friendly elf is desperate to play Santa, and last year’s Santa is found dead in the office!

A Traitor Among Us
Our Traitors-themed mystery, A Traitor Among Us, is based on the hit BBC One show starring Claudia Winkleman. Starring fan favourite from the 2023 series, Amanda Lovett, this will make the perfect gift for any Traitors fans.
We’ll be performing at Hall Garth Hotel in Darlington on Friday, January 26 2024, and we can’t wait.
Follow along as Amanda and the suspects are in a reality TV show and someone is bumping off the contestants!

A drink to die for
If you’ve seen us perform Murder and the Grand Duchess, you’ll know about the grand duchess’ preferred drink, her blackcurrant champagne cocktail, also known as a Kir Royale.
The blackcurrant liquor makes a fabulous Christmas gift. Named after Felix Kir, a mayor in Burgundy who used to offer the drink at his soirées after the Second World War.
Ideally, chill a Champagne flute in the freezer for 20 minutes. Pour the creme de cassis into the glass, amounting to about one tbsp worth.
Top with well-chilled Champagne, or whatever bubbly you have, and then drop in a fresh or frozen blackcurrant to serve.
