Stuck for Christmas murder mystery gift ideas for that special someone who has everything they need?
Need a gift for a loved one who can’t get enough of TV detective dramas and books?
We’ve got lots of murder mystery nights planned for 2022 so how about a pair of tickets for a night out as a gift for Christmas. Better still, book a ticket for you too and the gift becomes even more special with time spent together.
We’re returning to some of our favourite haunts in 2022 and we’ve got some new venues that we think you’ll love.
Let’s start with The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate where we’ll be bringing a new murder mystery to life every month starting on February 11th with My Deadly Valentine. To book your place call the events team on 01423 500055.
In January you can join us at Manjaros Kitchen and Cocktails in Ingleby Barwick, near Stockton-on-Tees, where we’re bringing back our ever popular Murder & Sparkling Wine on Sunday January 23rd. Tickets are £45 and should be booked through Manjaros Facebook page here.
If you’re looking for a February date we’ve got something for you with My Deadly Valentine at the Radisson Blu Durham on Friday February 11th and again on Saturday February 12th at the Hallgarth County House Hotel in Darlington. Definitely something to book in advance because we know how much fun and just how popular this plot is.
If you fancy a weekend away with a murder mystery dinner on one of those nights we’re looking forward to heading to Raven Hall Hotel at Racenscar near Scarborough on Saturday March 5th for a 70s-themed murder mystery at the disco! You book for the two night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast and the murder mystery too at £242 per person. Take a look at the event on the hotel website here. It’s a new plot in a new venue!
Or you could join us on March 12th at the Walworth Castle Hotel near Darlington or Judges at Kirklevington Hall near Yarm. At Walworth Castle you can join us for Murder In The Wings as the cast of the am dram society stage their first murder mystery play but not everything is going to stick to the script and a body in the wings is definitely not in the programme. You can call 01325 485470 to book.
Or at Judges on the same night we have Murder As If By Magic where famous magicians Des Tardly and Herbert van Ishing are brought together for a reunion show ten years after Des killed Herbert’s new bride in a death defying trick that went terribly wrong. Is this a case of revenge or is someone else plotting to commit murder?
To book tickets for any of our events at these fabulous hotels check their websites or call to find out more.
And don’t forget our brand new series of case files games where you are the detective and must solve the case. Investigations starts with the case of Gideon Love available now. You receive statements, interview transcripts, evidence and photos through the post to begin your investigation as the detective who is taking over the case.
Spread out the files, grab your murder board and make notes across it as you plot out where all the suspects claim to have been at the time of the murder.
There will be six games in this series of case files investigations but each one can be played independently. It makes the perfect Christmas murder mystery gift for the person who always solves their TV detective dramas.
